Alkali Refined Linseed Oil, manufactured by Viscus Oils

Alkali Refined Linseed Oil

Refined to strip free fatty acids, giving a cleaner, paler oil for paints, varnishes, and inks. It is also the feed for our alkyd resins and stand oils.

Double Boiled Linseed Oil, manufactured by Viscus Oils

Double Boiled Linseed Oil

Heat treated for faster drying and a harder film than raw oil. Used in paints, varnishes, wood finishes, and inks where cure time on the substrate matters.

Break Free Linseed Oil, manufactured by Viscus Oils

Break Free Linseed Oil

Processed to remove the break, the protein and mucilage that cloud raw oil. Used where clarity and a clean, consistent film are needed in paints, coatings, and inks.

Linseed Stand Oil, manufactured by Viscus Oils

Linseed Stand Oil

Heat bodied to a high viscosity, giving a tough, flexible, fine film. Used in printing inks, varnishes, and coatings where flow and levelling matter.

DCO Monomeric, manufactured by Viscus Oils

DCO Monomeric

Dehydrated castor oil in monomeric form, a fast drying, non-yellowing oil for paints, coatings, inks, and adhesives. Also used as a plasticiser in flexible systems.

DCO Polymer, manufactured by Viscus Oils

DCO Polymer

The polymerised grade, heavier bodied than the monomeric, for paints, coatings, and inks that need more body and faster set. Also used in adhesives and plasticisers.
